The Ambrado SR-2000 SuperRES Converter system, powered by the latest NVIDIA Fermi-based Quadro GPUs, is a CUDA architected SD to true HD up-down converter. SuperRES technology with Ambrado proprietary image processing algorithms produces the best video quality compared to standard scaling methods. “Seamless workflows, flexibility and speed are key requirements for delivering quality, HD video,” said Andrew Cresci, general manager, vertical market solutions, NVIDIA. “SuperRES, combined with NVIDIA Quadro GPUs, offers an excellent conversion solution that empowers users to design, iterate and deliver higher quality content in less time.” The Ambrado SR-2000 SuperRES features SDI inputs for capturing original content from an archival deck or media play-out server into a format suitable for up-scaling, and includes Preview and Post-view outputs for before-and-after comparison. The processed HD-resolution video can be transferred to any storage media or captured to play-out servers.
