Ambrado™ Standard Definition 4:2:2 Encoder

All of Ambrado's HC Series Systems have been specifically developed to meet the rigid performance and quality requirements of studios, broadcasters, CATV, IPTV, enterprise, and government agencies. The HC Series hardware platforms include the HCE1604 HDTV Encoder Hardware and the HCD1604 HDTV Decoder Hardware.

Instant Option Upgrade (IOU)

For all hardware platforms, Ambrado offers a range of software configurations which allow you to purchase only the features you need reducing expense yet allows you add features in the field in seconds using Ambrado's IOU (Instant Option Upgrade) whenever desired.

The Ambrado HCE1604 SD422e provides powerful capabilities and features which deliver contribution-quality standard definition video with high-quality audio over satellite and IP-based networks. The SD422e provide best qualityindustry-standard 4:2:0 MPEG-2 encoding provide video at data rates from 3 Mbps and up to 50 Mbps with low latency in both I-frame only and Long-GOP modes.

The SD422e is designed as a low to high data rate standard definition encoder which is perfect as an economical video contribution solution. The system also features an upgrade path to the Ambrado top-of-the-line HD422e system solution. The SD422e also adds support for LTC and VITC (timecode).
